"Look and Live"

We had a wonderful opening night of the Gospel campaign. Evangelist Herman preached a message entitled, “Look and live” using the text from John 3:14-15, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

The above text is in reference to what the Lord told Moses to do in the wilderness found in Numbers 21:9, “So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole, and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.” This typified Christ becoming our sin bearer on the Cross, taking our sin upon himself. It is as we look upon His sacrifice acknowledging our sin we will live.

The preaching led into the altar call and three precious people, two women and one young girl responded and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Tears were rolling as they repented of sin. What a moment! Thereafter those who were sick were prayed for and everyone who needed healing, testified that they were healed. There was healing from a knee condition, healing of the stomach, healing of the back and healing of pain in the arm.

We give God the glory for salvation and healing that took place. Hallelujah!

Thank you for praying.
